Nyk Sykes
Nyk Sykes is a Sydney based artist. A photographer as well as a writer and performer of poetry.
In photography, Nyk Sykes has gained awards from New York, London and Paris. He was named 'Best in Australia' for 2017 in New York’s prestigious Graphis Photography Annual. His photography has been exhibited in Sydney, Los Angeles, New York, Miami and Basel. He has been published in the USA, China, Germany and Russia.
In poetry, as a writer and performer, he has won national and metropolitan awards. He has performed at the Sydney Opera House for the Festival of Sydney and at the Museum of Contemporary Art. His poems have been published across Australia and in Europe.
